Athletics competitions are held every Saturday at Charles Riley Reserve from 7.45am to 12 noon. The first competition is Saturday 7th October 2017.The information on Cross Country can be found here.

Training takes place at Carine Open Space on a Monday or Wednesday, commencing at 5.00pm for a compulsory warm-up, run and stretch. There are then 3 x 20 minute sessions that covers events that are planned for the forthcoming Saturday competition day. At 6:00pm there is a final run and stretch / cool down. Ages U10 and up train on Monday and Wednesday ages U7, U8 & U9 train on Wednesday only.
**Please note that the Club requires parents of U7, U8 and U9 athletes to stay at training with their child.
- Club CompetitionWe encourage athletes to compete at all recognised competitions.
We have a regular Saturday morning competition held at Charles Riley Reserve in North Beach. The first day of competition is on Saturday 7 th October. There is also one twilight competition, a weekend Zones competition, a relay competition and the state championships. There are restrictions as to how many events each athlete can be involved in. Usually 4 events for the U7, 8, 9’s and 5 events for the U10 – 17’s.
Saturday events will run from 7.45am to about 11.45am. This is at least a 4 Hour commitment for 15 weekends.
Athletes can accumulate points at most of the Saturday competitions at Charles Riley Reserve. Points for Personal Bests and points for competing. These points go towards the Season Points Competition presented at the Hamersley Association wind-up held mid March.
- State ChampionshipsThis competition is held around March. To be eligible to compete in the State Championships you must compete at the Zones.
